Ruen Brothers - A cracking new band

I first heard the Ruen Brothers on the radio, and loved their song Aces.  What  I like about the band is that within todays music apart from your kasabians and the like,  none of the new music that is similar to that genre really has any balls.

Ruen Brothers definetly have balls ! Aces is their current big song ( Its on radio 1 - So you know its going to be big once the masses tag on to it ) but its a fast paced song, thats totally different to anything thats out in the charts at the moment.

I recommend youtubing them as they have some cracking covers recorded on youtube that needs to be looked at.

They are playing at glastonbury, and this is one that I will definetly be having a look at.

A Little Gem I Found On Soundcloud - Mahalia Simpson

I came across Mahalia Simpson the other week. First off this girl is cracking ! Her voice is spot on , unique, sexy with a sound that makes you think wow.

The music that she has on her soundcloud is unique, its a mixture of soul, funk and a bit of blues. If your into this type of music, it is definetly worth checking her out.

My favourite song is Be my ( The link is at the bottom of the screen .. have a listen. ) Its catchy unique and a lot better than most the music in the charts today.

Judging by her facebook, twitter and youtube, shes still unknown. Hopefully this doesnt last long as the girl has talent, and some really cool music. Hopefully she goes far.
